When Mike and I sat down for an interview in his home near Roncesvalles, he really wanted to make sure certain messages about the music could be communicated with all the words that would otherwise be left unsaid on an entirely instrumental album.
We created this mini series of documentary style edits to interrupt the doom-scroll feed with slightly slower and more meaningful storytelling in order to highlight the musicians on the album, and the album’s place in Toronto’s music scene.
